7-Eleven Day
How can anyone fault them? They're sugary, icy cold, and compliment the very best alcoholic beverages. They're the perfect answer to the statements 'I'm hot' or 'I'm thirsty' or 'I'm a diabetic, I need more sugar.' In a perfect world they would sell them at restaurants and bars. Beer, wine, OJ, Slurpee. It just makes sense.
If you share my strong love of Slurpees, whatever the flavour, then prepare for a magical weekend. Yes, this IS it people. The day we have all been waiting for. If MJ was alive he'd been moon-walking and crotch grabbing in excitement. I know I am. This Saturday is the 7th of the 11th month, also known as 7-Eleven Day, also known as Free Slurpee Day!
So how does one take part in this delightful day? Walk into any 7-Eleven and say to the girl or guy behind the counter, ‘happy 7-Eleven day' (as dickey as it may sound) and you will receive one free small Slurpee. Instant sugar high, ta-dah!
