The Bowery
I nearly fell over myself when I realised The Bowery had yet to be featured in FourThousand. How could the greatest cocktail bar in Brisbane not yet be mentioned on the postcode map?! No surprises to any regular, but The Bowery is not just the best bar in Brisbane, it's the best in the land of Oz; winning this years' Bar of Year competition, according to some fancy bar and gourmet magazines and if it counts for anything, me.
Sexuality
Sex sells. It certainly does Mr Tellier. Sexuality is Sébastien Tellier: l'man, l'myth, l'wonder's third studio album. He's all up in American Apparel's grill, Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo produced this album and it's released by Records Makers, the next coolest French record label, after Ed Banger.
A Street Art Exhibition
A night of taggin' on walls, faggin' on ciggies and slappin' on stencils right? Oh no pal, you got the wrong side of the tracks. At Boxcopy's latest group exhibition, A Street Art Exhibition there won't be graff, stencils or stickers - but they remain adamant that it's Street Art, although, after this show you may need to reconsider what Street Art actually is.
